Actuary Today 2.0

Actuary Today is an event about Actuarial science and actuary. Anything u wanted to know about actuarial science will be discover here.
The event can be categories to 3department - Competition, Exposition, Challenge.
COMPETITION - put ur skills to test in the various question related to Actuarial Science. (High School category and Pre-U category)
EXPOSITION - What is actuarial science? what does an actuary do? How do i be an actuary? Will i be rich? Getall your fizzing question answered! Uncovered the truth behind all the common misconceptions regarding actuarial science.

CHALLENGE - See the representatives of our nation's greatest universities slug it out!
Witness the action as they present their ideas and concepts to special guest judges. We have judges from Hong Kong (Actuary) and also 3 ex-president of SOA. *proud proud*

We have the external paper part, where we have spontaneously built classroom with briefer to explain external paper that we have to go through to be an actuary, and also information about SOA..
We have history part, with real stuff ( not as real as from babylonian)
we are even on the newspaper!!!

participating in Actuary Today 2.0 is a really good experience and i have learn a lot of things from it.
joining the expo team is both fun and tiring.
a week before the event, we stay back at uni everyday until around 9pm to work things out.
and on the week of the event, we upgrade more. haha
tuesday, back home around 9++pm
Wednesday, back around 11++pm
Thursday, back around 1++am
Friday, back around 3am
Saturday, reach uni around 7.30am. (but the friend who pick me was late, so i get to rest a little and reach uni around 8am...)
i just feel my body is superz!!!!
after the event i feel kinda uncomfortable as not staying back at uni till late night.. LOL
i'm glad thing is over and it turn out to be successful!!
and i know more about my course and get to know more friends!!!
the preparation process is exhausting but fun!!
is an event that is memorable!!
