ok, so there was a Deepavali lunch celebration at our company today. they have traditional indian performance and free henna painting by our in-house staff. and also the mystery food challenge (eat 20pieces of tosai by 5member! crazy??!!) !!!
Henna is a dye prepared from plant and is commonly use as the art of temporary tattooing. Henna has also been used antiquity to dye hair, skin, fabrics and is widely use as cosmetic in the Roman Empire, Ancient Egypt. Today, henna remains a tradition during bridal night for some.
my henna painting... it looks dark brown when 1st complete
it was done by a Chinese colleague!!!
she told me that she just learn it few days ago through youtube!! how incredible!!
leave it for 30mins and it will dried off
the dark brown things will start to peel off and eventually become orange.
it could probably stay for 3days. which i don't know yet. but it feels so awesome to have it!!
